  • We are committed to providing a comprehensive service with affordable high quality, developmental and educational childcare service to our local community.
  • We aim to provide children in our care with a safe, happy and healthy environment, which recognises the special needs and talents of individual children through the employment of caring, qualified educators.
  • Our early learning centre strives to provide care of the highest standard in a secure, safe and trusting environment, we aim to provide a “Home-Like” atmosphere which incorporates a realistic and natural environment, that enhances on real-life experiences and a focus on learning with natural materials.
  • We believe every child is a unique individual who brings to our centre his or her own special qualities. Our educators provide a warm, welcoming, supportive and caring environment in which all children can grow socially, cognitively, emotionally, physically and morally.
  • We use the Early Years Learning Framework Curriculum – Belonging, Being and Becoming. We also incorporate the My Time, Our Place for older school-age children and in 2013 our QLD Government approved Kindergarten program commenced with a Bachelor trained teacher that follows the QLD Kindergarten Guidelines.
  • By recognizing each child as a unique individual and each family as a valued member of our centre community we hope to develop a positive self-concept and attitude towards learning and play.
  • We believe all children should be given assistance to understand, appreciate, and respect various social and cultural diversities within their community, thus ensuring all children receive equal opportunities regardless of socio-economic background, ethnicity, sex, race or physical ability.
  • We strive to promote and support the value of diversity, respect for the environment, sustainability practices, wellbeing which includes eating and staying healthy.
  • We have close relations with our surrounding community and the importance their roles play on the children and our centre as a whole.
  • We as educators must be able to extend on the child’s home experiences. Therefore a close liaison with parents is essential to ensure a high degree of parent participation and involvement and in so doing, form the essential partnership that must exist between home and child care.
  • Together we take the time to build the individual foundations of education and care of all children’s future. The role of families, the staff and the broader community are vital in providing equitable care in our centre and we value and encourage input into our programs, policy, procedures and any decision making.
